Had dinner to night at pin board cafe. The food was very good. The service was great. Very friendly place. Lots of room and very clean . Fair prices. Will go there often, for sure.thanks for the experience. Lee Steele from Corbin says....drive a Little.. save a lot.
Food was not very good but all of the waitresses were very nice that waited on me and my boyfriend, except one. We were getting ready to leave, and she came back in to check on us and asked if we wanted any dessert and we politely declined which is when she made the remark that we were "to skinny" for dessert. I'm sorry that our body weight is not to her liking. Some people may think I'm over reacting, but she did not say this in a jokey way and even if she meant it as a joke she should not have said it. That was very unprofessional and rude. I work in fast food and would never make a comment about a customers weight. Overall this was a horrible experience and the food wasn't very good.
Will admit we only ordered dessert while there since we were just waiting on friends. Was expecting to go into a nice cafe have a cappuccino and a lite snack. So in that aspect was not impressed. Only offer regular coffee which I did not have. I did order a Diet Pepsi and Lemon Blueberry Cake. The cake tasted like a standard lemon cake (from a box) with off the shelf lemon icing topped with fresh blueberries (which was nice although we had to pull several stems off) with Cool Whip topping. Once more at a Cafe was expecting a homemade thick lemon cake with a nice blueberry cream icing. The staff was nice and atmosphere was ok lots of stuff that appears unfinished. There was a customer leaving when we walked in that had the roast beef and was not pleased at all with the food. She made that very clear. Do not plan on going back.
I always enjoy going to the Pin Board. They have great food and friendly people.
