Wine selection is a little weak and stingy, but dry county restaurants are not known for great bar fare.
My recommendation is to avoid the steaks at Cheddar's and go with sandwiches or appetizers.
Good menu, good service, great food, good atmosphere.
I should have known better. I wanted a steak but Shiloh Steak House was packed. I then went to Cheddar's and ordered what should have been their best steak, the bone-in ribeye. I was not expecting "great" but what was served was awful. Ordered as medium-rare, it was served well-done. The server agreed and it was sent back. The second try was cooked right, but the steak itself was almost inedible. At least 50% remained on the plate as it could not be cut or chewed. I went to the restaurant expecting a decent meal that would be paid for and enjoyed. I paid the full price but did not enjoy. No discount was offered and no manager made an appearance.
I dropped a star! From 4 to 3.

Service was great, especially given that we were there for an early lunch. The lady who took care of us was friendly, cheerful, and delightful. Honestly, everything else could have been awful and she would have carried this review to three stars by herself. That said, the food was amazing, the bathrooms were clean, and my kids loved it. Would certainly stop here again.
We were staying at a hotel close by this time Cheddar's and since my Mom is ill we ordered a carryout. The wait was over 45 minutes after we ordered our dinner. The bartenders are the one's that place the orders.... My Veggie plate was delicious and there salad
So that's why I have rated it as an okay
The best restaurant in London KY! Never have I has bad food there. Everything is delicious. Service is almost always great.
What they have is fine; I just don't look forward to it anymore.
They continue to drop my favorite menu items -
