Beware! Scam, this place took me for around $800! They have no interest in helping anyone. Completely taking advantage of people addicted to opiates by charging insane amounts of cash for a prescription of suboxone. And if they see you have money and desperate enough they'll try to put you in a house the doctor owns for $4000! Its not a rehab center. More like a crack house that they lock you up in. Suboxone works dont be discouraged. I found a respectable Dr. And have been completely clean for 3 months now and I feel great. My doctor ran blood work on me took ex-rays of my lungs and other things that any doctor will do for your health who isn't a crook. None of which was done at step works. Being addicted is hard enough getting taken advantage of by a dr.and his cronies should be illegal and they should be arrested!

Husband finished his 30 days last week and was shocked at the change. They have classes from Sun up to Sun down and gave him the tools and services he needs to maintain sobriety. The staff was loving and supportive!!

Horrendous experience and I feel for any addict that enters. My stomach hurts just googling this place. If I could give 0 stars I would. Expect hidden cameras in bathrooms and bedrooms, group psychological abuse (i.e. exclusion, taunting) under the guise of group therapy, no privacy, indoctrination of Southern Baptism (weekly visits from an insane church group, pressure to read Bible), I could go on. After leaving this place I found it necessary to go to another institution to recover from the mind f*** they perform. It's really just a get together of already recovering addicts acting as if theyre new patients. Not to mention the other unspeakable things that go on, that staff and other past patients allow because they think it's helpful. For your mental health, stay away.

The experience was no less than amazing. The love and willingness the staff have for everyone that walks through that door. I thought places like this didn't truly exist. My experience was transforming. They take the journey with you. From Frank the no nonsense by the book leader whom is a wonderful teacher, Bridgette the best nurse that truly cares and does not have too. The medical field needs more people like her that listen and want to help. The world would be better not sicker. Both Therapists that I had the privilege of working with Tim Moses and Maggie Coyer are the backbone of the Stepworks Family in London. Their hands on approach to helping you learn about your disease and how to learn to live , live clean again is very important to someone that didn't trust their own shadow. I only hope that people find their way there before its too late. Admit your problem, be willing to change, want it for yourself and Pray. That's what I did and god sent me Stepworks. He will you too. It works if you work it.

My girlfriend and I both paid the $6000 fee for a total of $12,000 dollars and was very disappointed to say the least. The staff was very unhelpfull!!! Basically you are locked in the house with no freedoms what so ever and the only help that you really recieve is from the other clients that stay there as residents. I was discharged two weeks early from breaking thier policy on romantic relationships and recieved no refund for my early discharge!!!!! So basically they stole $3000 dollars from me and did not even offer to refund my money whatsoever. At the time of my discharge I learned that the violated my privacy rights and they had shared information about my treatment with someone that I did not sign a release to allow them to do! That is a violation of the Hipaa Act. I am currently about to file the forms nessesary to take action against them for this violation of federal law and I am filing a lawsuit against them for the recovery of my $3000 dollars! As far as the treatment itself goes I should have just went to AA or NA meetings because that is the only help I recieved in the two weeks that I was there. I am very angry with this place right now for the violations of my rights. The staff treats you like a child with instances being things like taking of pillows that residents brought from loved ones to help them cope with not being with their familes, the taking of clothes hampers because they were left out, keeping you from "partnering up" with other residents that you relate to. Which basically means if you have someone you like to share with more so than another because your experiences are simular you are unable to become a close friend to them like going to smoke, sit beside each other, etc. The staff is quick to judge you for the smallest action and they file what is called a sanction on you for it. They managment is not even aware of any of the residents feelings, emotions, or true dedication to recovery. All the material they have is out of date as far as the local halfway houses that are in the area and around the areas that people that were in there were from. They lied to my family and told them things that were clearly not true and I have already strained relationships with them from my using so that made them even worse! The previous owner did not care about the place what so ever!! the new owners fired all the staff and then rehired all of them but thru the transition the staff took it out on all the residents. None of the employs know the same set of rules so one would tell you that it was okay to do something and then another one would sanction you for it. Lastly, which I could go on forever about this place but the manager Sherry had a relitive come in that was selling drugs to one of the residents wifes and that person was made to leave over the manager taking preference over him to her nephew. Dont waste your money!! Go to a meeting, get a sponser and good luck to you.
