Beautiful place. Usually not crowded, some of the most photo-worthy trails I've seen.
Warning campground is currently closed. The campground might have been great but we never got the chance to find out as it is currently closed. The gate is locked and you can't drive in. No where online does it say this and we never could find out why from anyone. Would have loved to camp here because it looked great but we drove here for nothing. No signs or any information. Perhaps you could just walk in and camp but if you are driving in, forget it.
Amazing place beautiful scenery, plenty of hiking. Quiet and free camping.
Beautiful, somewhat secluded campsite close to water and many scenic trail systems. Easy access to overlooks w/ a view of bald eagles. As far as amenities go, there is no running water at the time but there are clean outhouses. You also must take all garbage, it's a shame to litter on this gorgeous land which is free for recreational use.
