I'm serious. They are completely un-professional here and if you are like me and consider your dog as your child YOU WILL NOT take your dog here.
Now- flash forward a week later, the gash looks terrible and I am taking him to the vet to get it cleaned and re-glued, as well as constantly picking fleas as I have to wait another 2 weeks before I can treat him again. My mother called the store twice, left two messages and never heard back- finally went into the store where they informed her that they received no such message- the owner had left town so there was nothing they could do about it, as well as stated that they had no idea that there had been any injury to any dog in the last couple weeks and it was news to them that a dog had to be taken over to the vet to get glued stitches.
Brandi is awesome and april is super Scooby loves both of these fine ladies they always do what I like and will fix anything that you don't like but Scooby is always adoreable.
My toy poodle has been going here his whole life and we have not had any problem. His groomer, Brandi, does a good job and the staff is friendly.
If I could give them less than one star I would. My mother brought my dog in (a 5 pound pomchi) and dropped him off with a warning that they had muzzled him in the past as he becomes extremely stressed out in groomer/ vet situations- and that just 4 days prior he had spent the night in the hospital for a seizure so he would be more shaken up than normal. When she came to pick him up the older lady who had been grooming him apologized profusely and said that he had snapped at her while she was grooming him and that he had a small cut on his shoulder. There was no phone call as it had happened, nor was he muzzled as requested. Then she went on to tell my mother she had taken him over to the veterinarian office adjoined to Paws and Claws and had him checked and had his "cut" glued shut. WE PAID FULL PRICE for a full grooming including a flea dip. The next time I saw my dog the cut had ripped open- (a TWO INCH GASH on his shoulder that looked as though it had become infected) The gash was so deep you could see into it from the side and the skin was split. Also within the next four days we picked over 20 fleas off of him.
I have been taking my Himalayan here, to get a lion cut, for nearly a year. They are terrific! From the first time meeting them, it seemed like we had known each other for years. They always do a wonderful job and I have always gotten exactly what I have ask for.
I HAVE NEVER seen such un-professionalism in my life. I understand completely that mistakes happen- but the way it has been handled is ridiculous. There was no care to listen to our request of him being muzzled, no phone call was made when the injury happened (and based on how it looks now it had to have bled for awhile and hurt pretty bad), no one even knew about it happening (not sure how- all of it seems shady to me), we paid full price for grooming which has resulted in my dog being injured and having a permanent scar the rest of his life, paid for a flea dip which obviously didn't work, and NOW we are being given the run around and treated as though we are crazy when asking for them to pick up the bill to have my dog seen by a vet.
We were actually camping for a week at Levi Jackson park and our shihtzu needed a groom. She has really nice coat and had only been 3 weeks since last groom. Walked in and they got her right in! Said she would be ready around 11:30 am and called at 11:40 that she was done. She looked great and I was very pleased! Would definitely use them again while in London
I'll change my review when I feel happy with the service I received.
